Age 10, 1946 - Donald Woods play Tommy's father in movie after movie, including one of his favorites, Bomba the Jungle Boy. But his Dad let his stepmother beat the living daylights out of their kids in this movie.
But Tommy wasn't going down without a battle. In this scene, Donald Woods had to drag him away from his step mother. With the full throttle of buzz saw fists, he went after her with everything he had!
Dagwood Bumstead's dog Daisy, from the movie series Blondie, worked with Tommy in several pictures as well. In this show, they're shown here running away from home.
There were about a half dozen boys in Hollywood that did all of Tommy's age groups parts. As a result, on all of his casting interviews, Tommy had to battle the same boys time after time.
